Privacy Policy

cocomunity gathers certain information about you and your use of the service. We strive to gather as little as possible. On this page you can read what data we gather, how we do it and why.

Information gathered

1. Email: When you sign up for cocomunity, you do it with your email. This is used to identify you and log you into the system.
2. Payments: cocomunity does not store your payment information. When you pay for an account, we send them via a secure connection to Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe saves this information for future use. For details see Stripe's own privacy policy and information about security.
3. Non-personal information: We kan gather non-identifiable information, such as IP address and device type. We can also gather additional anonymous information to understand usage patterns on the service.
4. Cookies: cocomunity use cookies to recognize you, so we can recognize you, when you visit the site.

Data sharing

Your email and your name is visible to other members on the accounts, that you are a member of.

cocomunity does not share your personal information with anyone or anything outside the app unless we have your explicit approval. The sole excemption is Gravatar which is used to display an avatar, if you have an avatar there. We are in the process of removing this integration

Data deletion

You can at anytime ask to delete your account and with that all your data. Some data will be kept for use in accounting and similar archival practices, but in that case they will be anonymized.

If you want to access, edit or delete your data, you always have the right to do that. Send an email and we will handle it.
